At the command prompt type:

ipv6 install

There is also an optional hotfix from windows update call the
"technology pack" or something like that. It has updated versions of
some of the v6 stuff, so I recommend installing that.

You're done. IE should work fine along with Ping, etc. firebird

Unfortunately, if you install the technology pack you get an IPv6
firewall enabled by default. This firewall can only be removed by
unistalling the firewall in the network properties section of
control panel. There is also no way to configure the IPv6 firewall
without programming to their API. By default the box will not even
respond to pings.
